This is a space where we aim to cultivate trust, collaboration, and inclusivity. We aim to approach our work through a weight-inclusive, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens. We strive to create a space that is centered around consent, choice, and autonomy.

45 MINUTE INITIAL SESSION

The initial session allows us to start getting to know each other and answer any questions you might have about our work together. Depending on your comfort level and with your permission, we may begin to explore your past and present relationship with food and exercise, eating patterns, body image concerns, medical history, digestive health, stress levels, sleep patterns, and more. Together, we’ll discuss the type and amount of support you will need, the frequency of visits, both short-term and long-term goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together.

45 MINUTE FOLLOW UP SESSIONS

Through these sessions, we will work together towards your goals. Our hope is that our sessions will provide you with a supportive space to work through any feelings, thoughts, and experiences you are navigating as we focus on building skills, exploring body image, dismantling food and body shame from external factors, and creating structure if necessary.

Insurance & Rates

Nutrition DeJunked is credentialed with Insurance Companies and accepts the following:

Coverage varies greatly between plans. We do not check benefits for clients, so it is your responsibility to know what your plan covers and what your portion of the cost is. Before your first appointment, please call your insurance company and inquire about your insurance benefits utilizing our insurance script below. If insurance declines to cover your visit(s) for any reason, you are responsible for the full fee for the service(s) rendered.

If you do not see your insurance plan listed above, you have the option of seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Some insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which means you can submit statements to your insurance for potential reimbursement. If you have questions about your out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company directly. Contact information regarding benefits can be found on your insurance card, usually listed as a phone number for "member services" or "customer support."

Transparency around health care costs is important to us. We will provide Good Faith Estimates under the No Surprises Act explaining the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, which you can read more about here. You may ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, click here or call our office at (208) 615-2057.

Equity Pricing and Reduced Fee Rate2024-01-09T17:34:12-07:00

We reserve a few reduced fee equity-based pricing slots because accessible care is important. People who identify as Black/Brown/POC, Indigenous, disabled, LGBTQIA+, low-income, or fat* will be given priority for reduced fee spots. Clients who can pay the full fee provide a sustainable model for those who cannot afford it.

Please disclose you are seeking a reduced fee slot when you make your first contact and we will let you know if one is available. Our reduced fee offering is $70 per session. We understand that this still may be inaccessible, and hope to offer even more accessible rates in the future.
